Let's go outside and enjoy the sunshine of this spring season! We're planning to replace our book club with various outdoor activities during spring and summer, and book club will resume in the fall.
Our first outdoor activity will be a hike at Bear Canyon Bridge in Draper City. We'll meet at Jerry's house (1773 Hidden Valley Club Drive) at 6 PM and then drive together to the trailhead. This trail is relatively easy, and it appears that dogs are allowed as long as they're kept on a leash.
The Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge is situated on the eastern side of Draper, amidst the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain Range. It is typically accessed from the Orson Smith Trailhead. The bridge stretches 185 feet across Bear Canyon and provides a connection to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
